The duties and position of the Data Protection Officer in European Union law are regulated in Article 37 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union and its continuation.

Organizations residing outside of Turkey that collect or process the personal data of Turkish citizens and/or foreign nationals residing in Turkey are required to appoint a local data controller representative. This representative must be a Turkish citizen residing in Turkey or a Turkish legal entity. in our country personal data protection legislationrequires data controllers to inform the Personal Data Protection Authority about their data processing activities. Atanacak Veri Sorumlusu Temsilcisi, Kurum ile iletiÅŸim noktanız olarak bir köprü görevi üstlenir. KiÅŸisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu tarafından size yöneltilen talepleri size iletirken, sizin adınıza da Kurum ile iletiÅŸime geçer.
2) Türk vatandaÅŸlarının ve Türkiye mukimlerinin kiÅŸisel veri iÅŸleme süreçleri kapsamındaki soruların yöneltileceÄŸi taraf olmak
Atanan temsilci, bir kiÅŸi tarafından size yöneltilen her türlü baÅŸvuruyu sizin adınıza kabul ederken, KVKK Madde 11 ile beraber, çevre mevzuatlar dâhilinde yapılan baÅŸvurunun detaylarını bir analiz ile size iletir. Bununla sınırlı kalmayarak, yapılmış baÅŸvurunun yasal süre içinde tarafınızdan cevaplanıp, ilgili taraflara yönlendirilmesini takip eder ve yasal sorumluluÄŸunuzu yerine getirmenizi saÄŸlar.
3) VERBİS kaydı
Temsilci, Veri Sorumluları Siciline (VERBÄ°S) kayıt için gerekli iÅŸlemleri yapar ve ÅŸirketiniz adına atanan irtibat kiÅŸisi aracılığı ile Türkiye’de iÅŸlediÄŸiniz kiÅŸisel verilere dair VERBÄ°S’te gerekli bilgilendirmeleri tamamlar. Hizmet dâhilinde süreklilik saÄŸlanarak, ÅŸirketinizin süreçleri içinde, veri iÅŸleme faaliyetlerinizde bir deÄŸiÅŸiklik olması durumunda, ilgili güncellemeyi de VERBÄ°S'te gerçekleÅŸtirir.
4) Mevzuat deÄŸiÅŸiklikleri kapsamındaki güncellemeler doÄŸrultusunda sizi bilgilendirmek
YaÅŸayan ve her daim takip edilmesi gereken bir süreç olan kiÅŸisel verilerin korunmasına iliÅŸkin mevzuat güncellemeleri, yeni uygulamalar ve mevcut uygulamalarda meydana gelen deÄŸiÅŸiklikler ile ilgili sizi Türkçe ve Ä°ngilizce olarak bilgilendirir. Bunun yanı sıra, VERBÄ°S’e beyan yükümlülüÄŸünüz doÄŸrultusunda da mevzuat deÄŸiÅŸikliÄŸi nedeniyle yapılması gerekenler varsa, sizinle görüÅŸerek bunlarla ilgili gerekli düzenlemeleri yapar.
